As the new binders, organic natural biopolymers are proposed (proteins, cellulose derivatives), which form differnt biomaterials exhibiting admirable performance. At present, the optimization of the mixtures of moulding sands and the properties of the moulds are tested, with regard to potential recyclability of the sands.
