Original abstract
This article is concerned with comparison of velocity field size depending on size of the eccentricity in leakage joints of centrifugal pumps. Eccentricity is created by gravitation and radial force from impeller. This report describes approach for calculating the straight seal without rotation. An eccenticity dependence of the axial velocity field in the article is numerically verified by using FLUENT software.

Tento článek se zabývá porovnáním velikosti rychlostního pole u těsnících spár odstředivých čerpadel v závislosti na velikosti excentricity. Excentricita je způsobena gravitací a radiální sílou oběžného kola. Tato zpráva popisuje postup výpočtu hladké těsnící spáry bez rotace. Závislost axiálního rychlostního pole na excentricitě byla numericky ověřena pomocí programu FLUENT.
