Present-day production of cast iron with nodular and lamellar graphite from metal melted in cupola furnace. Possibility of heating the metal out of cupola, without electrical furnaces. In-ladle desulphurization of metal. In-ladle modification of metal by full wire. Reduction of manganese content for the production of ferritic cast irons. Possibility of the carburization of cast iron. Possibility of in-ladle alloying of cast iron. Purchasing cost and economy of cast iron production via out-of-furnace treatment.

Současná výroba litiny s kuličkovým i lupínkovým grafitem z kovu vytaveného v kuplovně. Možnosti ohřevu kovu mimo kuplovnu bez elektrických pecí. Odsíření kovu v pánvi. Modifikace kovu v pánvi plněným profilem. Snížení obsahu manganu pro výrobu feritických litin. Možnosti nauhličení litiny. Možnosti legování litiny v pánvi. Pořizovací náklady a ekonomie výroby litiny mimopecním zpracováním.
