Original abstract
Important part of the wheelset movement modelling is the estimation of the contact forces. In this paper algorithms used for contact force calculation are compared on a simple case of wheelset placed with varying lateral displacement. Results revealed that methods based on Hertz contact provide some unwanted step changes when the flange touches the rail. On the other hand the CONTACT algorithm gives continuous raise of the contact forces. This makes it more suitable for simulations of wheelset movement.
Czech abstract
Významnou částí modelování pohybu dvojkolí je určení sil v kontaktu. V tomto článku jsou algoritmy používané pro výpočet kontaktních sil srovnány na jednoduchém případě dvojkolí umístěného s proměnným příčným posunutím. Výsledky odhalily, že metody založené na Hertzově řešení mají nežádoucí skokové změny, když se okolek dotkne kolejnice. Naproti tomu algoritmus CONTACT dává spojitý růst kontaktních sil. Tímto dává přesnější výsledky kontaktních sil.
