Original abstract
The sludge from waste water treatment plants belongs to the permanently produced, quantitatively significant wastes. With respect of tightening sludge treatment legislation it is necessary to look for new ways of sludge treatment and disposal, respectively. The energy utilization of sludge is possible provided of the high part of dry matter of sludge, high calorific value of sludge and effective energy utilization from combustion process. From this reason a potential application of heat exchanger in the sludge incinerator is considered. The contribution takes up the previous work [1] and deals with detailed design of heat exchanger for sludge preheating for the purpose of testing and thermal-hydraulic experimental verification. The paper introduces into the development of the heat exchanger "Water-Sludge" and presents its present state.
Czech abstract
Kal s čistíren odpadních vod patří do trvale produkovaných, objemově významných odpadů. S ohledem na zpřísnění legislativy o likvidaci kalu je nutné hledat nové způsoby likvidace a nakládání s kalem. Energetické využití kalu je efektivní za podmínky vysokého obsahu sušiny v kalu, vysoké výhřevnosti kalu a efektivního energetického využití vzniklého tepla. Z tohoto důvodu je uvažována aplikace výměníku tepla ve spalovnách kalu. Příspěvek navazuje na předchozí práci a zabývá se detailním návrhem výměníku tepla pro předehřev kalu pro účely testování a ověření tepelně-hydraulického výpočtového modelu. Článek popisuje vývoj výměníku "voda-kal" a ukazuje jeho současný stav.
