Original abstract
Heat exchangers used in technologies for processing waste and biomass are presented as independent pieces of equipment as well as items of integrated systems. Their design and retrofit are shown from the point of view of an effective combining intuitive design, experimental approach, modelling based on simulations and CFD and utilizing feedback from industrial applications.

Výměníky tepla v systémech zpracování odpadů a biomasy jsou představeny jako samostané aparáty a jako integrované součásti vlastních technologií. Jejich návrh a rekonstrukce jsou uvedeny z pohledu efektivní kombinace intuitivního designu, experimentálního přístupu, modelování na bázi simulací a CFD a využití zpětné vazby z průmyslových provozů.
English abstract
Heat exchangers used in technologies for processing waste and biomass are presented as independent pieces of equipment as well as items of integrated systems.
