Original abstract
Příspěvek je zaměřen na analýzu užitných vlastností spodního dílu bloku motoru vyráběného technologií lokálního squeeze castingu. Byly provedeny rozbory mechanických, strukturních a napěťových vlastností, které byly porovnány s výsledky numerické simulace v softwarech SIMTEC a MAGMAsoft. Dále byl zkoumán vliv tepelného zpracování a lokálního squeeze castingu na uvedené vlastnosti.

English abstract
The paper is concerned with an analysis of the useful properties of the bottom part of an engine block manufactured by the squeeze casting technology. The mechanical, structural and stress properties were analysed and compared with the results of numerical simulation using the SIMTEC and MAGMAsoft software. Also, the effect of heat treatment and local squeeze casting on the above properties was investigated.
